The 7th edition of the AMPSECA Conference will be held in Marrakech, continuing the dynamic series of international meetings on Advanced Materials for Photonics, Sensing, and Energy AppliCAtions (AMPSECA). Previous editions took place in El Jadida (2012), Agadir (2017), and Marrakech (2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024), establishing Morocco as an active hub for scientific exchanges in this strategic field.

This new edition will once again bring together a diverse community of researchers from academia and industry to discuss recent advances in materials and their applications in photonics, sensing, energy, and hydrogen technologies. The aim is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthen collaborative links among scientists, engineers, program managers, and young researchers.

Building on the momentum of previous years, the AMPSECA 2026 edition will also highlight emerging themes and strategic international partnerships that contribute to scientific and technological innovation. Through plenary lectures, invited talks, oral contributions, and poster sessions, the conference will provide a platform to exchange ideas, present results, and initiate new research collaborations.

With participation expected from Morocco, Africa, Europe, Asia, and beyond, this edition seeks to reinforce the conference’s role as a catalyst for networking, capacity building, and the development of new joint scientific initiatives. The event will continue to encourage interactions between Ph.D. students, early-career researchers, and established experts, creating an environment conducive to the advancement of cutting-edge research in advanced materials and their applications.
